I can't believe this is even an issue. Whether or not Treliving should have sold low on Gaudreau is one thing, but the Flames were legitimate contenders this year. You don't trade your best two players when you feel you have a legitimate shot at it.
Now, maybe with the loss, you can think there are some hols in the lineup, but that doesn't change the fact that virtually everyone had the Flames as contenders, and trading Gaudreau would have been rightfully roasted.
