With the current state of the AL East you can't afford to give up your future to "Go" for it unless you guarantee yourself you aren't playing in a wildcard. Anything can happen in 1 game and it's not worth gambling your future on that. As for Ohtani I feel he is overrated, how much is the extra spot he makes in the rotation or bench worth?
