Nothing against Hanifin at all. He could probably get a haul for the team in a trade.

Agree on the top 6 forward part, but too many defenseman?
Hanifin - Andersson
Weegar - Tanev
Kylington - Zadorov
Why is that too many? We don’t even know where Weegar slots in yet or who he is going to have chemistry with. Depth on defense is so important- you saw what happened after Tanev went down in the playoffs. Everybody had to fill in by committee and they weren’t able to perform.
Surely we don’t want to bank on Meloche, Mackey, or Valimaki being 82 game players this year right? The above top 6 not only provides excellent depth, but also gives Sutter a ton of options.
