I agree with that, and I was never a fan of signing him over $9.5M, but we'll still be missing the most entertaining Flame since Theo Fleury, and that's still sad. As a fan that watches for the entertainment and in the knowledge that a cup is a pipe dream almost every year, I'll miss watching Johnny even if I don't think it would have been a great signing.
