I remember when WCW fired Russo and they literally announced that they didn't know what was happening at the PPV that weekend, but to tune into Nitro's season premiere on Monday.
WCW was such a great source of comedy at the end.
I would expect that HHH is realizing that the WWE upper card is empty outside of Reigns and Lesnar. They talked about bringing back Goldberg but he can't work anymore. (He's surprisingly worse then he was at his height). Cena is off making movies, the Rock is done.
HHH has to find a way to build stars, period. Or bring in Stars.
If HHH was smart, he'd be on the phone with MJF, pushing him to demand his release from AEW. I know its tampering and stuff.
He should probably bring back Wyatt if he can as well. Then take the old NXT guys and do an invasion.
But the WWE has a pretty decent under card, but man they don't have top players.
The Woman's division is worse, and sadly confused.
