Me too - he's not a great puck carrier and isn't amazing at pushing play in the middle of the ice but he's actually quite proficient at puck retrieval and subtly winning board battles.
I think he's been trying to focus so much on his defensive play as a center that he also just gave up on trying to product any type of offense.
