They reported to police, Sport Canada (where the funding comes from), and hired the independent investigator...did you watch her testimony before repeating the line that they "purposefully kept it hidden"?
She gives a very clear and in my view legitimate explanation for why the Hockey Canada investigation went the way it did. Including that for 18 months she sought the version of the events from the complainant and could not get it (and appears to accept that was due to the fact she simply was not ready to give it). Only then did the investigation get closed but without prejudice to reopening it if the complainant ever wanted to.
