My unvaccinated brother caught covid last week in Calgary after attending the Stampede and visiting relatives. Not a surprise considering he isn't protected and doesn't wear a mask. But then he came home and visited my elderly mother. He claims he tested negative before he visited her and didn't develop symptoms till later that week; but he should have stayed away from her for a period after he got back. We're pretty livid about it. She didn't catch it, which is a relief. She's fully vaccinated and was boosted twice. As far as his health, apparently he's feeling a lot better and will be fine, according to our mother.
