Hanifin isn't a #1D, but with Weegar in the fold now he'll finally play where he's slotted best as a #3. He's like a McDonagh or Bouwmeester type - you still need these types of defensemen to win.

I just don't like the idea of moving any of our top 6 D after what happened in the Edmonton series. If you do move one, it's for help at C and not on the wing. I think Sutter is probably very happy with how the defense looks right now with Mackey as a #7 and maybe a re-signed Stone as #8.
