Long gone are the days of the Lougheed conservatives, which is sad. The right part of the political spectrum today is now a smoking (although Danielle Smith is okay with that), devolving ball of crap that keeps falling further and further right. Social conservatives need to find a way to take back their narrative.

I now know of two people (yes, just two, but they are who I considered your average albertan) who are voting for Smith because she is fighting for Alberta with her Sovereignty Act, something that Lougheed apparently couldn't do.
Their words, don't kill me. I need to GTFO of this place before it's ruined. Nothing says future prosperity and economic investment for a province like fighting your own country tooth and nail.
