Whatever Huberdeau’s limitations, they haven’t stopped him from being incredibly effective his entire career.

Speed is one of the most overrated skills there is. It’s pointless if a player skates faster than they think out the play or handle the puck well enough to make a good pass or accurate shot. Give me a slower player that takes time to make plays and keep possession over a speedster. Very few players can do both.
