The Flames really need a PR win here and they are probably going to offer him the moon to re-sign. The optics of having to jettison another star player either through trade of free agency is something they are going to want to avoid at all costs. Huberdeau would be wise to take advantage of this from a business perspective.
I am still pretty pessimistic about him re-signing, but there are a lot of reasons why he might. Not the least of which is negotiating off of a 115 point season.

There isn't a lot of Skiing in Miami as far as I understand. I have heard a lot of people with money like to ski. Even if money isn't an issue its pretty hard to find good skiing in Miami.
