If Barzal is available, he seems to check a lot of boxes:
-Highly skilled center
-Fantastic speed
-Right hand shot
-Western Canadian kid
-Only 25 years old
-Has still managed to be productive when playing for a coach with a strict defensive structure.

And he’s a game-breaker. I think he is a perfect fit for this team. The flames already have two great two-way centres in backlund and Lindholm… bringing in a center like Barzal who excels at high speed offence would be a very solid move IMO.

It might cost us hanifin but I think it makes the forward depth so much better.
