That's the last one I could think of offhand.

Close but no cigar: Mike Bullard (105 pts. in 1987–88) for Doug Gilmour (105 pts. in 1986–87). Same year as the Gretzky trade, too.

Clearly, if the Flames want to pick up a 100-point player on the cheap, Brad Treliving needs to get on the phone and call 1988. They were growing on trees back then.

ObOnTopic: I'm flabbergasted by the trade. This feels like the Hamilton-Lindholm deal all over again, but with older players. If either Huberdeau or Weegar re-signs, it's a win for the Flames. If both, a blowout win.
