Although, the defense was absolutely obliterated by Draisaitl and McDavid in the BoA, so I don't really know what to think about our defense right now to be honest. If Weager does a better job at containing 97 and 29 then yes, it probably is a win.

The ONLY downgrade between Weegar and Gudbranson is Gudbranson is the better fighter.
Weegar is physical, and the better defencemen at both ends of the rink. I liked Gudbranson, and wanted him back, but he (and Zadorov) were both very sheltered. When they weren't, they got blown up.
Weegar is on the ice against much higher quality of competition. It isn't even close - Flames upgraded on defence.
