That pro-rates to 72 points in 82 games. Not his very best, but hardly what I would call a "down year." From 2000 to 2012, Iginla scored fewer than 75 points six times.

It's how he got there:
27pts in first 40gp
22pts in last 16gp (10pts in the last 5gp that were total garbage time)
3 pts in the 1W-8L stretch from games 32-40
Obviously you can argue Sutter effect and putting the line together, but it was essentially a 63pt pace in the ~48 games that really mattered
