It's going to be fun to watch this play out. Gaudreau and Tkachuk will continue to produce regardless of the players they end up with. Yes, they will see moderate increases or decreases depending on linemates, but not to the level of Lindholm. Again, he's a quality player, but he isn't reaching 82 points or a +/- of +61 without Gaudreau or Tkachuk, or comparable talent. A Selkie nomination is not in the cards, and a substantial drop in production and defensive stats is certain to follow, especially of the Flames recoup an offensive center in the return for trade for Tkachuk. Too many Flames fans living in fantasy land right now. Any team that loses its #1 and #2 scored is certain to be crippled, regardless of what comes back.
