They will see how things go this season before fully committing to a rebuild. If things look bad close to the deadline with no sign of getting better then I would expect guys to start getting moved out.
It's wishful thinking for people to expect them to pack it in just because they lost 2/3 of their top line. Especially when we don't even know who they will get back for Tkachuk.

Fully agree with this. I also feel that ripping this to the studs and selling the assets this team currently has would yield a very underwhelming return with where we are at in the season and the strength of the draft class this year. People are talking about multiple first round picks coming back after dealing Markstrom, Tanev and Lindholm this year but that just isn't happening in this draft. Teams are close to the cap with most rosters being fully set already.
It really stinks they can't sell off for this year due to the quality of players that will be available but it just seems like the timing is too late. Might as well give it the year and see where they sit when the dust settles.
