Calgary could be a world class city but it would mean some serious expenditures which no one wants to pay for. Not just an arena is needed, the BMO expansion is a good step forward but what do people in town have as options when they finish their convention duties for the day?

The only thing it's really missing is an entertainment type district. The pubs etc on 17th would just move there, it really wouldn't change much, but would condense it to one area. Really it's the same as other cities, with different scenery.
