There are a few guys who you can increase value on by showcasing this year, Toffoli, Coleman, and Backlund come to mind. Great guys to deal at the deadline. However, if you wait another year after this, they lose value quickly, due to age and contract status.
The Flames are really in a unique position this year to stock up on a lot of great picks going into a very deep draft.
...or we could just grind out 2-3 and 1-2 games and try and get into the 8th seed and get worse and worse every year.
