What makes you think something like this would be the best offer? Serious question. Ben Chiarot fetched a 1st, a 4th and prospect as a pure rental at the deadline. Tkachuk comes with a long-term extension. I get people feel the need to pump the brakes regarding the return, but this a mid-20 forward who's coming off a 100 point season and is going to re-sign long-term. That has to - and surely will - be reflected in the return.
