Not that this is unbelievable considering his previous allegations, but if you read the article, it appears as though the girl in question (along with seven other ballerinas) is suing a couple for sexual abuse, and it’s the counter suit from that couple that names Katz.
So, these allegations against Katz are coming from a couple being accused of sexual abuse, not coming from the girl in question (though the text messages, if legit, are pretty obvious).
Could very well be true, but adds an additional weird layer.
