Four years after the fact, some reasonable doubt with the texts, would be incredible if there was ever any conviction.
But if a player was found to have engaged in sexual activity in that room with the 7 others, would that amount to “guilty” in your eyes? Obviously the alleged gang rapists will say it was consensual, she says it wasn’t.
I’m just curious because it would be enough for me. I’d be fine if the 8 players involved never play another game once they are named.
Open question to anyone who wants to respond.

I think names will undoubtedly surface eventually, and from there I would assume you can expect more statements, more cover, and probably some "I was just there, I didn't participate".
I'll go to the facts to render down my opinion. There were 8 male athletes and 1 intoxicated female in a hotel room. Not even in my college "dude-bro" days would I consider it alright to spend more than about 4 seconds in that room. IF some speculation is true (1 on 1 consensual encounter followed by more being invited) that means the guy who she gave permission to and then invited his buddies for a spin should never play hockey again. Absolutely abhorrent. Second, the other 7 that walk in and see the situation and shrug their shoulders should also never be allowed to lace up again. Oh, you didn't actually have intercourse with her? You just sat there and watched? You're dead to me too and a different kind of scummy.
I don't care if it's 1 tweener pylon or 8 superstars involved, if they were in the room, get them away from the sport that I enjoy promoting to my girlfriend's two daughters.
