There was a leaked rumour (shared on Instagram) by a St. Louis Blues insider that Calgary rejected a trade offer for Tkachuk that would have sent Kyrou, Krug and a 1st round pick Calgary's way. Apparently this rumoured trade offer was while Calgary was still trying to re-sign Gaudreau.
