I guess we just have different philosophies over how the team should go forward. I would rather be patient for other opportunities than jump at Klingberg just because he is available now. Feaster was one of the worst GMs in Flames history in my opinion, so don’t think that situation is comparable.
But I’m sure we can agree on that it mostly simply depends on Klingbergs contract demands. I think the contract he ends up getting would reduce the Flames’ flexibility, which is more important to me long term than adding a decent offensive defenseman that allows more goals than he scores.
