No, this is where you are wrong. Tkachuk has an immediate built-in excuse for any drop in production - the Flames allowed Johnny Hockey to walk for free and did not replace him with competent NHL talent. Some team will be dumb enough to bite on that and pay him for that 104 point season from the past. Just look at what he can do with first line time and top end talent! Someone will look at the circumstances of the broken up 1st line and pay the man his money.
