Why would that be?
A team would be nuts to give up those assets for only one year of guaranteed Tkachuk, but even if they did offer him 10M, the Flames match and they’re pretty much at this exact spot where the arbitrator can award anywhere from 9M (minimum) to much more.
Except now if they go to arbitration it’s all about how much Tkachuk sucks because that’s how a team needs to approach arbitration and why everyone hates it.
