I think people are arguing for a trade in July 2021, before his NTC kicked in. But he's still a rental at that point, albeit a one year rental, and he's not the 115 point guy he is now: He's a .83 PPG guy over the previous two years, who hasn't gotten anything done post season, plays arguably the easiest position to fill, and has big question marks around his size, whether teams have figured him out and whether he's becoming easier to check. Trade value: maybe like a Taylor Hall (though that was a TDL deal, not off season).
