I think Tkachuk would sign one if a team offered the amount he wants. As soon as he signs it, it doesn't matter what the Flames do, he's already made the money.
Brady didn't care about re-signing with Ottawa, and that was before they started putting together a decent team and their arena deal looked optimistic.
