1) the road to hell is paved with good intentions. His dishonesty/indecisiveness screwed the flames. I'm not upset that he chose to leave, but rather how he treated the flames when he left. That's why I'll be booing him upon return.
2) There is nothing concrete to blame this all on his wife. There could have been tons of issues that led him to the choice of screwing the flames. Edward's? Treliving? Chicken on the way not using trans fats anymore? We won't know because Johnny BS struggles with honesty.
