This is a link where you can sign up and become a member of a community called Careers In Technology and Innovation. It’s filled with people who are looking to leverage their skills into new careers in tech in Calgary. You’d get access to their Slack channel, invitations to networking events both virtual and in-person), their resources for job searching, and can talk to advisors who have made successful pivots into the tech industry.

I’m a member myself but I haven’t used it in a long time. Seems like a solid place to network from what I’ve seen though, it’s pretty active. A lot of the members are non-tech professionals who are looking to pivot into tech, but I think they would love the fact you have experience.
