One last post re: Gudbranson — they spent Christmas together at the Fairmont in Banff (with the Coleman’s) and it was also reported that they went out for dinner to celebrate Erik’s birthday (which was the same day as Johnny’s wife’s birthday). Don’t know how much of a factor that was but take it for what you will.
