That would have given Philly and his agent as well much more leeway to make cap space as well as provide Tre a return in terms of trading his rights to the preferred team.
Instead, he made the all too human mistake of being indecisive to the last minute and everybody is in a dumpster fire except for Jarmo.
To be fair, I was a dumpster fire of a human at 28 as well.
