I agree with this 100%. It’s also worth mentioning (or maybe repeating) that at the time of the nixed Brodie trade, Kadri exercised his NTC in order to stay in Toronto, where at the time he loved playing. He did not do so to avoid Calgary, he actually has family here.
Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he got a competitive enough offer that he would be willing to play here, especially under Sutter.
