This is shortsighted. Money isn't everything, many spouses want their own fulfilling career and not just be a trophy sports wife blowing his money and chasing celebrity. In that sense she's probably a great catch for him in terms of long term happiness and stability.
If you gave me the choice between $15M and the perfect spouse I would choose the latter.
