I’m not sure at all about him getting more than $9M. Arbitrators look at his performance over several years and comparables. The guy that got him to where he is just got 9.75. Most wingers of his average production get less than 9. 4 LWs (his natural position) and 5 RWs make more and they are almost all significantly better than him.
