I like the term. He brought a lot of elements the Flames were lacking last year. I thought that his hits and smart rush defense could really impact a game. In addition, if we blow it up, he is always an asset at the deadline for a playoff team.

I’m a little worried that he showed a lack of chemistry with both Andersson and Tanev last year, but he was a great fit with Gudbranson. Hopefully he improves his cycle defense, and occasional brain farts in his own zone.
