I wouldn't discount the fact that 66 of their games will be in the Eastern time zone, with 6 others only one hour ahead in the Central. Plus overall travel in the East is a lot easier. More nights getting home to sleep in your own bed after a single game out of town.
Not sure how Ohio taxes compare to say, New York, New Jersey or Philly. I think they're pretty high in all 3 of those states, and Philly used to have a city income tax too.
