You would pay about 8.2% in sales tax in Nevada and 5% in Alberta
So guess you would save about 6% in taxes. One of the few states (Florida being another one) where the tax burden is lower in the US than it is in Canada.
In California you would have a 52% effective tax rate for instance. Nobody moves from Canada to California to avoid taxes.
