They probably don't fire Treliving if they were kept apprised of the situation and made a decision as a group with all parties fully understanding the risks.
Proclamations for firing someone without knowing who made what decision is just silliness in my mind.
But luckily the proof will be in the pudding. When he isn't fired this summer we will see that the ownership group doesn't see this as a performance issue, but the way the system works with all the risks understood.

This is 100 percent why Brad will stay, he knows how to manage up. When Murray said Sutter is the coach, Sutter became the coach. When Murray said how he wanted to handle Gaudreau, Brad handled Gaudreau that way. I totally agree that he will remain as the GM.
