I dont blame Brad for Johnny leaving, he should have done everything to extend him before the start of this season but it didn't happen nor do I think 3/4 of CP would have been okay with Johnny signing a 8x10.5 after the year before.

Didnt happen, he has a career year and you simply cant flip him at the deadline, so it was inevitable that this could happen.

I DO blame Brad for poor asset management in general though.

I DO NOT want Brad leading us through a re-build, and I do think we need to go that route. Starting with Matthew, you need to see what you can get and move from there.

Lindholm
Tkachuk
Markstrom
Hanifin
Tanev
Mangiapane

These are all PRIME assets that could help jumpstart a re-build for the flames.
Our window has closed, any attempt to try and keep it open is foolish beyond belief.

But as far as GM goes I think its time to look elsewhere if we're rebuilding and we should.

I dont think Sutter wants to coach a re-build so I respect his decision to move on if thats the case.
