I think the person who comes off looking worst from this is actually Lewis Gross. He should have worked with his player early and insisted on a clear answer on where JG wanted to live and play. If -- and only if -- what Tre said was true...that it was about family...then Gross and JG must have had a pretty good idea that was the case some time back.

I suspect Gross will find it very hard to move forward with players and GMs in the future as the GMs will lose any faith that he bargains in good faith. At the very least, GMs will be quite wary and protect themselves in the wake of this.

(Odd as I just read a Court case about a failure to negotiate in good faith.)
