Not sure blowing it up is the answer, or that the Flames will be an awful team next year without Johnny, or even that Johnny signed at $10.5M or $11M per year would have been a good contract, but I can say that without Johnny my gaf level about the team will be a lot lower and I don't feel much enthusiasm to watch or follow next season.
