More and more people I know are just as happy to watch the game on a big screen and not head down to games. Wonder if we see a huge peel back of revenue in the major sports leagues over the next ten years.

There has to be a limit to the amount people are prepared to pay for tickets. I suspect the flames are just about there considering the success of last year but still having plenty of seats empty. Relying on TV deals to increase the cap each year is dangerous. These players get payed plenty and it would do the NHL a world of good if it could call a halt to cap increases for a while. Yes I know the CBA deals with it.
