Those are completely speculative numbers. "No traction" is potentially misleading too..again I think decisions have been made and made a while ago so there's no issue to have traction on to have to worry about.
If he goes somewhere else my guess is the first few words out of Johnny's mouth was that the Flames were offering more but it wasn't at all about money or the City of Calgary or the Flames organization.
And if he stays, he will say it is because he was offered more to go elsewhere but chose Calgary for all sorts of reasons.
