Honestly, I'm hoping they keep one of the big two. Spend the extra dough upgrading the quality of depth in the fw ranks and win the points production war in the aggregate. It's makes so much sense to me. I dont like top heavy, over invested top line teams.
I just figure if they keep Johnny, move chucky for a decent haul of prospects and future, sign someone like Nichushkin for less or the same as what chucky was making. Then use the extra cap space to upgrade players down the line up. Say looch gets dealt too, that's even more space to upgrade spots. Because I'm also fully convinced Pelletier is going to be a middle winger on the main roster next year. That's cap savings and a half.
Then add in you can likely upgrade on guys like Lewis , Ritchie either from the farm of extra cap space. It's a win.
