Kadri’s career production is 57 point average over 82 games. He had a career year on a team where he was one of five (5) players over a point per game. He is on the wrong side of 30.
I think he would be a fine addition to the team, but not at the contract dollar amount and term that I believe he would seek.
I recall once a few years back, the Flames were rumoured to be targeting a UFA north of 30

If I recall correctly, he was around Kadri’s age, the Flames offered a 9 year deal at 64 million (that’s in 2011, so in the 10 range today). He ended up being in the league for 5 seasons. 3 with NYR then one each in Chicago and Detroit
