It would depend on contract and term. I would not be handing out a 7 year deal thinking that he's a 80 point player. But what is a 25 goal and 45-50 point second line center worth, likely over 6 as a UFA. Problem will be if teams see him as this or do they think he's more? I suspect he's getting 6 years and a number starting at 7 with teams thinking he's more 87 point guy than the 50 point guy he's been. Durability is also a concern as he misses time nearly every year.
