It's not ideal, but Calgary is still a solid NHL market. Losing Gaudreau and Tkachuk will definitely result in fewer ticket sales (and kill any potential playoff revenue), but I'm sure the Flames will still be in the black.
Now if in future, more stars decide they don't want to play in Calgary I could see fan interest dwindling, but the situation the Flames face now is very rare.
