Seems like a reasonable approach. Maybe it’s just me but I find that when many talk about tearing it down or a rebuild, that means we’re getting Connor Beddard, miss the playoffs for three years and the meteoric rise to the cup shortly thereafter.
A word of caution would be to look at Detroit. They have benen a lottery team for years and never finished with a top three pick.
‘Luck’ and ‘rebuild’ should be synonymous terms.
